Job summary

Bristol Hospice in Madison, WI is seeking compassionate Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to join our patient-focused Interdisciplinary Group Team. You will work under supervision of a Registered Nurse and perform personal care to promote comfort for patients.

This PRN, hourly position offers competitive pay, with a supportive culture emphasizing integrity, trust, excellence, accountability and respect.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing.
• California CNA/HHA requirements are not applicable in WI.
• Preferred 1 year of hospice or community health experience.
• Must have completed required training and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and attend to patient requests promptly.
• Communicate with patients and families with empathy and confidentiality.
• Ensure safety, proper use of equipment, and observe patient condition.
• Assist with meals, bathing, dressing and activities as assigned.
• Support in medication reminders and record vital signs when ordered.
