Job summary
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking compassionate Hospice Nursing Aides to assist with personal care for hospice patients, including bathing, dressing and maintaining hygiene, while supporting families in caring for loved ones at home. You will work under the supervision of registered nurses, follow care plans, and help ensure comfort and safety on a daily basis.
Candidates must have 1 year of direct care experience or recent home health exposure, be a state-certified nurse aide, and
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility) or 1 year in home health or hospice within the last five years.
- Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
- Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care tasks for hospice patients, including changing bedding, dressing, bathing and helping with hygiene.
- Consult regularly with supervising RNs to keep the team informed of patient progression and family needs.
- Support families in caring for terminally ill relatives and provide instruction as needed.
