Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is hiring Hospice Nursing Aides to assist with personal care for hospice patients in the home setting. You will support patients with bathing, dressing and daily hygiene while maintaining dignity and comfort.

You will also guide families in essential care tasks and coordinate with supervising RNs to monitor patient progress and address family needs. This role requires at least one year of direct client care, a valid nurse aide registry status, and basic technology

Qualifications

• Minimum one year full-time direct client care in an institutional setting or in home health/hospice in the last five years.
• Registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with personal care issues including changing bedding, clothing, bathing and hygiene routines.
• Support patients' families by instructing them on basic health-care routines.
• Consult regularly with supervising RNs to keep the team informed of patient progression and family needs.
