Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking compassionate Hospice Nursing Aides to assist with daily patient care in home settings. You will support bedding, bathing, hygiene routines, and work with supervising RNs to coordinate patient needs.

Candidates should meet state requirements, hold a valid CNA/home health aide credential where required, and demonstrate basic technology skills to use mobile devices and electronic records.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following requirements: minimum of one year full-time direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility) or one year in the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.

Responsibilities

• Assist hospice patients with personal care including bedding changes, clothing changes, bathing, and hygienic routines.
• Support family members and instruct them on basic healthcare tasks as needed.
• Consult regularly with supervising RNs to keep the team informed of patient progress and family needs.
