Affinity Care of Sarasota is seeking a dedicated hospice aide to support patients under the supervision of a registered nurse. The role focuses on meeting personal needs, promoting comfort, and documenting observations in accordance with the patient’s plan of care.

Responsibilities include personal care, transfers, basic hygiene, and assisting with feeding while ensuring safety and confidentiality. Reporting changes to the RN Case Manager and adhering to care procedures are essential.

Qualificações

• Completion of a state approved CNA course or equivalent training.
• NAC certification.
• CPR certification (hands-on demonstration required).
• Food Handlers Permit.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsabilidades

• Perform personal care and attend to patient requests promptly.
• Provide compassionate communication with patients and families while maintaining confidentiality.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
• Assist with bathing, grooming, feeding, and linen changes as assigned.
• Assist with dressing, ambulation, and transfers as directed.
• Support medication reminders where allowed by state regulations.
• Monitor skin condition and report concerns to the RN Case Manager.
• Maintain clean and orderly patient living area and documentation practices.
• Participate in quality improvement activities and adhere to policies.

Driver's license

Basic computer skills

Hospice/home health experience
