Affinity Care of Sarasota is seeking a compassionate hospice aide to support patients under RN supervision. You will perform personal care, monitor comfort, and report changes to the case manager, while maintaining confidentiality and safety.

Responsibilities include assisting with baths, feeding, mobility, documentation in EMR, and coordinating with family. Prior hospice or home health experience preferred; must have CNA training and CPR certification.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant course or equivalent training.
• Nursing Assistant Certified (NAC) in the state of Florida.
• Current Healthcare Provider CPR (hands-on required).
• Current Food Handlers Permit.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care.

Aufgaben

• Perform personal care needs and respond to patient requests promptly.
• Provide patient and family with confidentiality and respectful communication.
• Ensure safety and proper use of equipment during care.
• Assist with bathing, oral hygiene, and changing bed linens.
• Assist in dressing, feeding, and positioning.
• Report changes in patient's condition to the RN Case Manager.
• Support in ambulation and ROM as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the patient area.
