Job summary

Caretenders Hospice, part of LHC Group, is seeking a Hospice Aide to support individuals at home. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor client conditions, and help with household tasks while maintaining confidentiality and using EVV for documentation.

Qualifications include a valid driver's license, insurance, reliable transportation, and CPR or progress toward certification. The role offers flexible hours and opportunities for growth within the Optum family of businesses.

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire
• 6+ months of home care experience
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Function in diverse home situations regardless of client background
