Job summary

UnitedHealth Group, through HighPoint Hospice (LHC Group), seeks a CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate in-home care, personal assistance, and support with daily activities. The role involves documenting vital signs, ensuring safety, and coordinating with families to maintain client comfort at home.

Required qualifications include a valid driver’s license, CPR or the ability to obtain it within 90 days, and 6+ months of home care experience.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days of hire.
• 6+ months of home care experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
