Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a CNA Hospice Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on care to patients and support for families during end-of-life care. You will assist with daily living activities, promote comfort and dignity, and work with the hospice care team to ensure care aligns with the plan of care.

Requirements include CNA certification and CPR, with a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Current state CNA certification and CPR required.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation and liability insurance.
• CNA experience within the last two years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care services to patients.
• Applies safety principles and proper body mechanics during personal and supportive care.
• Plans and prepares nutritious meals and assists with feeding.
• Performs homemaking and other environmental services as assigned.
• Observes and documents changes in patient status and reports to nurse.
