Job summary

Affinity Hospice Management LLC is seeking a dedicated hospice aide to support patient care under RN supervision in the Edmonds, WA area. You will perform personal care, ensure safety, monitor skin health, and document observations to support the patient’s plan of care.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily activities, communication with families, and reporting changes to the Case Manager. Prior hospice or long-term care experience is preferred and a valid CNA and CPR certification are

Qualifications

Completion of a state-approved certified nursing assistant course.
NAC certification and CPR required.
Hospice experience preferred.
Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Perform personal care needs as assigned and promptly respond to patient requests.
Provide patient and family with respectful communication and maintain confidentiality.
Ensure safety and proper use of equipment.
Assist with bathing, grooming, oral hygiene, and linen changes as assigned.
Support in dressing and undressing the patient as needed.
Assist in feeding while avoiding homemade foods.
Monitor skin condition to prevent tissue breakdown.
Report pain or changes in condition to the RN Case Manager.
Assist with ambulation and range of motion as directed.
Support with medication reminders as allowed by state regulations.
Assist with bedpans, urinals, light housekeeping, and laundry as needed.
Maintain documentation and comply with care procedures.
