Heartland Hospice is seeking a dependable Hospice Aide/State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) for full-time dayshift in Ohio. You will provide direct personal care and emotional support to patients in home, assisted living, or inpatient units.

Active CNA license in the state, CPR, a reliable vehicle with insurance, and at least 6 months of direct patient care are required. We offer mileage reimbursement, competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifikationen

• Must have active CNA license in the state of employment
• Current CPR certification required
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance
• Six (6) months of direct patient care experience
• Comfortable working in home settings, hospice facilities, or long-term care environments

Aufgaben

• Provide direct personal care to terminally ill patients
• Assist with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting
• Support safe mobility, including use of walkers and wheelchairs
• Help with meal preparation, feeding, and light housekeeping
• Observe and report changes in patient condition
• Offer emotional and psychological support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of visits
• Attend team meetings and participate in Quality Improvement activities
• Practice infection control and follow safety protocols
