Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking a Hospice Aide/CNA-PRN to assist with personal care, daily living activities, and household tasks to help clients remain in their homes. The role requires CNA certification in LA, valid driver’s license, and reliable transportation. CPR preferred; 6+ months home care experience is a plus.

The position offers flexible hours and a comprehensive benefits package, with pay ranging from $16 to $21.35 per hour, depending on location and experience.

Qualifications

• Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation or access to public transportation.
• LA: Current CNA certification or successful completion of a training program. Current First Aid Certification
• CPR certification or ability to complete within 90 days; 6+ months of home care experience; ability to work flexible hours and independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
