Greater Baltimore Medical Center invites applications for a Hospice Aide role under general supervision. You will deliver specific aspects of patient care per the Hospice Aide Plan of Care, including personal grooming, feeding, and hygiene, while prioritizing safety and dignity at all times.

Required is a high school diploma or GED, plus Maryland CNA registration and a valid driver's license. Prior acute or home care experience, strong communication, empathy, and the ability to work

• High School diploma or GED required.
• CNA registration with Maryland State Board of Examiners of Nurses required.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver personal care such as baths, grooming, and feeding to patients.
• Ensure patient safety and proper use of equipment (O2, side rails, etc.).
• Plan and assist with nutritious meals as assigned.
• Record vital signs when ordered, within training limits.
• Monitor skin condition to prevent tissue breakdown.
• Communicate patient status and changes to supervising nurse.
• Assist with ambulation, range of motion, and/ or light exercise as instructed.
• Maintain patient living area clean and orderly; assist with light laundry.
• Provide respite for patient, family, or caregiver when on-site.
