Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice in Idaho is seeking compassionate Hospice Nursing Aides to assist with personal care tasks, including bathing patients, changing bedding and clothing, and supporting families in caring for terminally ill relatives.

You will work under the supervision of registered nurses, maintaining patient dignity and comfort, following safety protocols, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver license
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
• Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• Must complete training, competency evaluation in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Must possess CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks including changing bedding, clothing, bathing hospice patients
• Support hygienic routines and wound care
• Instruct families on basic health-care routines
• Coordinate with supervising RNs to keep the team informed of patient progression and family needs
