Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving is hiring a Personal Care Assistant to provide in-home care in the Greater Boston West area. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and provide companionship while maintaining safety and dignity.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid time off, specialized Alzheimer’s and dementia training, and 24/7 office support. Pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour for full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate and high-quality in-home care.
• Experience or training in dementia care is desirable.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
• Discreet medication reminders and documentation.
• Support mobility and light exercises.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Assist with dementia care when needed.
