Home Matters Caregiving in the Greater Boston West area seeks a Personal Care Assistant to provide in-home support, companionship, and essential daily living assistance. You will assist with bathing, meals, mobility, and dementia care while maintaining safety and open communication with families and healthcare providers.

The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and a supportive office team, with pay from $18.00 to $21.00 per hour for full- or part-time in-person work.

Qualifications

• 6 months of home care or Personal Care Assistant experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, high-quality in-home care experience.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
• Medication reminders and documentation.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
• Assist with dementia care and cognitive support.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment with light housekeeping.
• Communicate with healthcare providers and family about client needs and progress.
