Home Matters Caregiving - Greater Boston North / West is seeking compassionate Personal Care Assistants to support clients in the Greater Boston West area with daily living activities, meals, mobility, and dementia care. Training, ongoing support, and opportunities for professional growth are provided.

The role offers flexible scheduling, paid training, and a referral program, with options for full-time or part-time work and hourly pay between $18.00 and $21.00.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.
• Compassionate, high-quality in-home care.
• Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients.
• Experience or training in dementia care is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Medication reminders and documentation.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
• Assist with dementia care, providing specialized support for individuals with cognitive impairments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress.
