Home Matters Caregiving - Greater Boston North / West is seeking a Personal Care Assistant to support clients with daily living activities, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility assistance, and compassionate companionship in the Greater Boston West area.

You will work in person with flexible scheduling (12 hour shift, 4 hour shift, day/evening/overnight shifts), earn $18.00–$21.00 per hour, and gain access to paid training, sick time, and a referral program to grow with our team.

Qualifications

• 6 months of experience in home care or as a Personal Care Assistant.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
• Ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
• Medication reminders and documentation.
• Support clients with mobility and physical exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful conversations or activities.
• Assist with dementia care, providing specialized support for individuals with cognitive impairments.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients by performing light housekeeping tasks.
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers and family members regarding client needs and progress.
