Job summary

Home Matters Caregiving - Greater Boston North / West in Dedham, MA, is hiring a Personal Care Assistant to support clients at home with daily living activities, grooming, mobility, meals, and medication reminders. You will work closely with clients and families to deliver compassionate, high-quality in-home care.

We offer flexible scheduling, paid time off, dementia training, and 24/7 office support. This in-person role serves the Greater Boston West area; pay ranges from $18.00 to $21.00 per

Qualifications

• 6 months of home care or Personal Care Assistant experience.
• Clear reading, writing and spoken English.
• Pass a background check.
• Compassionate, with strong interpersonal skills.
• Dementia care experience or training preferred.
• Driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities (bathing, grooming, dressing).
• Provide meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition.
• Medication reminders and documentation.
• Support mobility and perform light exercises as needed.
• Offer companionship and engage clients in activities.
• Assist with dementia care as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Communicate with healthcare providers and family about client needs and progress.
