Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist clients in their homes per the care plan. You will help with daily living activities, safety, and observation under supervision of a nurse.

Responsibilities include personal care, mobility support, monitoring health, and documenting changes. The role offers flexible, part-time hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in patients' lives.

Qualifications

• Meets training requirements per state and federal laws when applicable.
• Ability to read and follow written instructions and document care given.
• CPR certification current and compliant with state regulations.
• PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Successful completion of Maxim screening examinations.
• Participation in Maxim’s competency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities per plan of care (baths, hygiene, dressing, toileting, feeding).
• Monitor and record vital signs as ordered (temperature, pulse, respiration, BP).
• Support safe transfers and ambulation; assist with range of motion and exercises as ordered.
• Perform simple procedures as ordered; handle patient laundry and safety needs.
• Observe patient condition, document changes, and report to supervising nurse.
