Job summary

The Lakes Home Care, Inc. is seeking a compassionate Home Health Aide to assist clients in their homes according to each patient’s plan of care. You will perform daily living activities and monitor wellbeing under the supervision of a registered nurse.

Qualifications

• Meets all training requirements per state and federal laws.
• Able to read and follow written instructions and document care.
• Maintains CPR certification as required.
• Completes Maxim competency program.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and daily living per care plan.
• Take and record temperatures, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure when ordered.
• Assist with transfer and ambulation; observe safety.
• Provide range of motion and simple extensional therapy as ordered.
• Handle patient laundry and observe safety practices.
• Communicate clearly with client, family, and office.
• Observe and document patient condition; report changes to nurse.
