Job summary

UnitedHealth Group's UP Health System Hospice is seeking a Hospice Aide to help individuals stay in their own homes with compassionate support. The role focuses on personal care, daily living activities, and maintaining patient comfort in a home setting.

Responsibilities include helping with bathing, grooming, mobility, meal prep, transportation to appointments, and documenting client conditions. CPR certification is preferred, with 6+ months home care experience and flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assist with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, and medication reminders
• Support household tasks, meal preparation, and accompany clients to appointments or errands as needed
• Monitor and document client condition, vital signs, and incidents; maintain confidentiality and use EVV system
• Ensure a safe environment, operate medical equipment properly, and respond promptly to client needs
• Ability to function in any home situation regardless of age, race, creed, color, sex, disability, or financial condition of the client
