Job summary

The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake is seeking a friendly Receptionist to greet patients, families, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism. You will help ensure a calm, organized front desk while protecting patient confidentiality in a healthcare setting.

You’ll manage calls, screen messages, sign-in logs, and coordinate with teams to maintain an efficient, welcoming reception area as patients begin their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a professional office setting is preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficiency with standard office software and email.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and greet patients, families, visitors, and employees in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner.
• Manage incoming calls, monitor voicemail, direct calls appropriately, and relay messages promptly.
• Maintain visitor and employee sign-in/sign-out logs and distribute badges.
• Keep reception area and waiting room clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Coordinate with staff to relay information and assist with communications across departments.
• Maintain filing systems and assist with office supply management.
• Provide administrative support to other departments as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a team-oriented workplace.
• Protect patient and family confidentiality and adhere to privacy requirements.
