Job description

Be the welcoming face of recovery. Make a difference from the very first hello.

At The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake, we believe recovery begins with compassionate care, meaningful connections, and an environment where every individual feels respected and supported. As our Receptionist, you’ll play an important role in creating that experience by welcoming patients, families, visitors, and team members with professionalism, warmth, and empathy.

This is more than a front-desk position. You’ll help create a welcoming, organized, and supportive environment for individuals taking important steps toward recovery from substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions. Your attention to detail, communication skills, and commitment to confidentiality will help our multidisciplinary team focus on what matters most: providing patient-centered, evidence-based care.

If you enjoy helping others, thrive in a professional environment, and want your work to contribute to something meaningful, we invite you to be part of our mission.

What You’ll Do
  • Welcome and greet patients, families, visitors, and employees in a friendly, professional, and compassionate manner.
  • Manage incoming calls, monitor voicemail, direct calls appropriately, and relay accurate and timely messages to team members.
  • Maintain visitor and employee sign-in/sign-out logs, distribute visitor badges, and ensure badges are returned.
  • Help maintain a welcoming, professional, and organized reception area and waiting room.
  • Monitor staff whereabouts and assist with communication and coordination throughout the facility.
  • Maintain organized filing systems and help manage, track, and order office supplies for various departments.
  • Provide administrative and project support to other departments as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative, team-oriented workplace.
  • Protect confidential patient and family information and follow all applicable privacy requirements, company policies, and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support the smooth operation of the facility.
About Our Organization

Advanced Recovery Systems is the parent organization of The Recovery Village, Promises Behavioral Health, The Right Step, and The Ranch. Together, these established treatment brands share a commitment to expanding access to high-quality, evidence-based addiction and mental health care.

While you may work primarily with The Recovery Village at Palmer Lake, you’ll be part of a larger, growing organization dedicated to improving patient outcomes, supporting our employees, and strengthening the communities we serve.

What You’ll Bring

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Candidates without a high school diploma or equivalent must have at least five years of experience in a similar role.

Experience: At least one year of experience in a professional office setting.

Organization: Excellent attention to detail, coordination, recordkeeping, and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask in a busy environment.

Technology: Basic computer proficiency, including email, internet browsers, office equipment, and familiarity with electronic records or patient database systems.

Confidentiality: Ability to understand and follow patient privacy requirements, including applicable state and federal confidentiality laws.
