Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care Group is seeking a Transportation Driver in Woods Cross, UT, to provide reliable, safe resident transport to appointments. This role requires an 18+ driver with a valid license, the ability to lift 50 pounds, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and strong customer service skills.

You will operate a large van, assist residents into/out of the vehicle, perform daily vehicle checks, and coordinate with the in-office Transportation team to ensure on-time

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Current valid state-issued driver’s license.
• Maintain acceptable driving record.
• Be able to lift 50 pounds.
• CPR and First Aid Certified (or willing to attain upon hire).
• Exhibit excellent interpersonal and customer services skills.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, perform overhead lifting and other movements as needed.
• Ability to work beyond normal hours including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents in a safe and timely manner to/from appointments.
• Provide residents with friendly, compassionate transportation services.
• Drive a large van in a safe, courteous, and reliable manner.
• Assist residents into wheelchairs or stretchers, in and out of the van and other areas as needed.
• Daily cleaning and maintenance of vehicles.
• Coordinate schedules with the in-office Transportation team.
• Daily safety checks of the vehicle (lights, brakes, tires, wheelchair lift, seatbelts).
• Secure all necessary paperwork for appointments and deliver it to appropriate people.
