Job summary

Rocky Mountain Care is seeking a Transportation Driver to provide safe, reliable transportation for residents to medical appointments and activities. You will operate a large van, assist residents into/out of seating and equipment, and maintain vehicle safety checks.

The role requires good interpersonal skills, a valid driver’s license, CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and hold a current state driver’s license.
• Maintain an acceptable driving record and be able to lift 50 pounds.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willing to obtain on hire).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents to and from appointments safely and on time.
• Assist residents into/out of the van, wheelchairs or stretchers as needed.
• Drive a large van in a courteous, safe manner and perform daily vehicle checks.
• Secure paperwork for appointments and coordinate with the in-office team.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and report maintenance needs.
