Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years experience operating a passenger van recommended.
• Must possess a valid Montana driver’s license and show proof of insurability.
• Must pass pre-employment driving tests and drug checks.
• Must pass criminal and sex/violent offender checks.
• Excellent communication skills required.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
• Experience working with elderly patients preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a passenger van to transport passengers safely between destinations.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections and report any issues; complete required reports.
• Follow maps and written directions; adhere to MDT rules and regulations.
• Assist passengers, including lifting and securing wheelchairs; manage boarding/de-boarding.
• Provide schedules, directions, and information to passengers; liaise with scheduler.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional appearance; handle communications.
