Job summary

SWHRA is seeking a Transportation Driver to safely transport individuals within the Rural Transportation Program service area. You will operate curb-to-curb transportation, assist passengers including wheelchair users, and maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.

Work under the Transportation Director with a focus on timely, courteous service. Requirements include a 21+ age, valid Class D with F endorsement, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and ability to pass DOT physical, MVR, background

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must possess a valid Class D Driver's License with an F endorsement.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must pass a DOT physical.
• Must pass MVR, criminal background checks, and a pre-employment drug test.

Responsibilities

• Transport passengers safely to designated locations.
• Assist ambulatory and wheelchair users into and out of the vehicle.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and readiness for service.
• Follow safety rules and driving regulations at all times.
• Document trips, logs, and any incidents as required.
