Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 100lbs safely.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Composure and compassion.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and accept feedback positively.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external work processes.

Responsibilities

• Compassion & Empathy: Direct Families to resources upon arrival and departure for transfer of the decedent.
• Safe Transport: Navigate local roads with varying traffic, time of day, and weather; familiar with GPS.
• Reliability & Availability: Willing to work irregular hours (on-call), including nights and weekends; drive hearse as needed.
• Meticulous Attention: Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and timely per laws and regulations.
• Critical Thinking: Follow instructions and determine task order to complete them promptly.
• Professional Demeanor: Maintain neat appearance; perform other duties (washing vehicles) as needed.
