Job summary

Foundation Partners Group is seeking a Transfer Care Specialist to be the first point of contact for families, transporting the deceased from facilities to the funeral home with compassion and professionalism.

You will handle on-call shifts, lift up to 100 lbs, have a valid driver's license, and use Microsoft Office. The role includes coordinating paperwork and ensuring safe, respectful transfers while upholding the company’s standards.

Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 100lbs safely.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• 21 years old minimum and able to transport decedents with compassion.

Responsibilities

• Transport the decedent from nursing homes, hospitals, residences, or coroner's offices to the funeral home.
• Direct families to resources and maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Work irregular hours as needed (on-call), including nights and weekends.
• Complete paperwork accurately and timely per laws and regulations.
• Follow instructions and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Maintain a neat, professional appearance and perform related duties as needed (e.g., washing vehicles).
