Qualifications

• Valid state-issued driver's license with a clear driving record.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs safely.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

• Ability to follow detailed instructions and accept feedback with a positive attitude.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external work processes.

Responsibilities

• Compassion & Empathy: Direct Families to resources upon arrival and departure for transfer of the decedent.
• Safe Transport: Navigate roads and weather; using GPS or direction apps as needed.
• Reliability & Availability: On-call hours, including nights and weekends; drive hearse as needed.
• Meticulous Attention: Ensure paperwork is completed correctly and timely per laws and regulations.
• Critical Thinking: Receive instructions, determine task order, and complete promptly.
• Professional Demeanor: Maintain neat appearance; assist with other duties (e.g., washing vehicles).
