Job summary

Everstory Partners in New Castle, PA is seeking a Sales Counselor who helps families navigate funeral and cemetery decisions with care. You will sell pre-need and at-need services, build a pipeline from inbound leads, walk-ins, referrals, and community outreach, and manage relationships through HubSpot CRM.

This is a relationship-focused, commission-based role with paid training. You must have about 1 year in sales, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a valid driver's license to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of sales or relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and consultative selling skills.
• Ability to manage multiple leads and follow-up activities.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to assess needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products.
• Sell pre-need and at-need services and related merchandise.
• Build a sales pipeline through leads, referrals, networking, and outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads and walk-in opportunities.
• Follow up with prospects through the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete contracts.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and follow-up.
• Attend funeral and memorial services to support families.
• Participate in community events and offsite appointments.
• Collaborate with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and leadership teams.
