Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor to work with individuals and families in Lake Worth, FL, guiding them through funeral and cemetery product choices with compassionate consultative selling.

Responsibilities include meeting clients, building a sales pipeline, following up on inquiries, and managing activity in HubSpot CRM. The role emphasizes relationship-building, community outreach, and owning the customer journey.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus, particularly in Spanish, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese), Tagalog/Filipino, Vietnamese, or Arabic.
• One year of experience in sales or related relationship-based roles preferred.
• Experience using CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics) preferred.
• Comfortable working in a commission-based, performance-driven sales environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand their needs and recommend appropriate funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need funeral services, cemetery property, memorialization products, and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospective customers through lead generation, referrals, networking, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, customer inquiries, and walk-in opportunities.
• Conduct follow-up with prospective customers throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers, families, and local community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete required sales contracts and documentation.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, relationships, appointments, and sales opportunities.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and offsite appointments.
