Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous customer service and/or sales experience preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and databases; willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepares for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos and keepsakes.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations and maintenance as directed by management.
• Assists with preparation of remains and operation of crematory as permitted by law and regulations.
• Answers phones and operates office equipment, fax, computer, and phone systems.
• Runs errands for floral delivery, supplies, and documents.
• Serves as an usher and may assist with transportation for families and parking.
• Drives funeral home vehicles for services and family pickups.
• Greets client families and provides information; assists during visitations and ceremonies.
• Assists with visits, memorials and funerals including setup and dressing of remains.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicles and other client vehicles as required.
