Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Sales Counselor in Glenshaw, PA to help families make informed funeral and cemetery decisions. This role blends consultative B2C sales, lead generation, and community outreach to build trusted relationships and drive new business.

You will manage leads in HubSpot, guide purchasing decisions, and earn commissions based on individual sales performance, with a paid training period and uncapped earning potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bilingual or multilingual proficiency is a plus (Spanish, Chinese, Tagalog, Vietnamese, or Arabic).
• At least 1 year of sales, outside sales, B2C sales, or related experience preferred.
• Experience using CRM software such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
• Comfortable in a commission-based, performance-driven environment with prospecting and lead development.
• Strong sales communication, relationship-building, negotiation, consultative selling, and customer service skills.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills for handling multiple leads and appointments.
• Proficient with email, Microsoft Office, and common business apps.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with sensitive family information.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle; mileage reimbursement provided.

Responsibilities

• Meet with individuals and families to understand needs and recommend funeral and cemetery products and services.
• Sell pre-need and at-need services and related merchandise.
• Build and maintain a pipeline through lead generation, referrals, and community outreach.
• Respond to inbound leads, inquiries, and walk-ins; conduct follow-ups throughout the sales process.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers and community members.
• Explain products, pricing, and options clearly and compassionately.
• Guide customers through purchasing decisions and complete sales contracts.
• Use HubSpot to manage leads, appointments, and follow-ups.
• Attend funeral and memorial services as appropriate to support families.
• Participate in community events and off-site appointments.
• Collaborate with funeral home, cemetery, operations, and leadership teams for positive experiences.
