You will help patients obtain financial assistance and support accurate billing processes. Responsibilities include screening eligibility, assisting with applications, setting up payment plans, and collaborating with billing and revenue cycle teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Screen patients to determine eligibility for internal assistance programs and communicate outcomes.
• Assist patients with billing support and set up payment plans or explore options.
• Collaborate with revenue cycle teams to resolve discrepancies related to financial assistance and patient accounts.
• Apply pharmaceutical funding to applicable patient balances and reconcile accounts.
• Make calls to gather information to process financial assistance applications.
• Liaise between patients, physicians, clinics, and centralized billing office.
• Handle less complex issues and refer more complex ones as needed.
