Job summary

myPlace Health is seeking a compassionate Driver for our PACE program in Compton, CA. You will safely transport participants to appointments, center activities, and meals, while ensuring comfort and dignity.

Qualified candidates have at least one year of driving experience with seniors, a clean California license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and BLS/CPR/First Aid within 60 days. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Qualifications

• One year of driving frail seniors with safety and reliability.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred (test administered).
• Valid California Class C Driver’s License with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Transport participants to and from the center and offsite activities, and deliver meals as needed.
• Ensure participant safety during all stages of transport.
• Observe and report changes in participants' physical and emotional health to the IDT.
• Conduct pre-trip vehicle inspections and report defects promptly.
• Communicate clearly with participants, team members, and external contacts to ensure a welcoming experience.
• Assist with center activities during downtime and support events.
