Job summary

Savant Senior Living in Downey, CA seeks a Driver to transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities with safety and dignity. The role includes helping residents in/out of vehicles, communicating effectively with residents and staff, and maintaining records and documentation.

Applicants should be 18+ with a valid license and clean driving record; TB clearance and health screening are required. Flexible shifts, including weekends, are expected to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with a valid drivers license and clean driving record.
• Experience transporting residents with safety and care.
• TB clearance and health screening required; background checks as per policy.
• First Aid/ CPR certification preferred.
• Flexibility to work weekends/evenings if needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate facility vehicles to transport residents to appointments, outings, and activities.
• Assist residents getting in and out of vehicles, ensuring safety and comfort.
• Interact courteously and compassionately with residents during transportation.
• Maintain accurate trip, mileage, and resident transport records.
• Complete required documentation related to vehicle maintenance and incidents.
