Job summary

Alpha Health Services in Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time DSP to work one-on-one with a participant in the community and in-home settings. You will follow the participant's ISP, provide transportation, promote independence, and document progress while building a trusted, caring relationship.

Responsibilities include transporting participants to activities, assisting with personal care, supporting social inclusion, and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a DSP or direct care/caregiving role is required.
• Valid PA driver's license, active auto insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle.
• HIPAA familiarity preferred and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Transport participant to community activities and appointments per ISP goals.
• Provide personal care support with dignity and respect.
• Encourage community participation and social inclusion.
• Document progress and changes in participant status.
• Follow ISP and implement individualized care plans.
• Collaborate with care team and family members.
• Complete required PA ODP trainings and maintain certifications.
