Job summary

Covenant Case Management Services is seeking a compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide one-on-one community living support for an individual in the Alexander area. You will mentor and care for the person, promoting independence, growth, and safety in home and community settings.

The schedule emphasizes afterschool hours and weekends, with emphasis on reliable transportation, strong communication, and dedication to dignity and person-centered care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual/developmental disabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct Care & Companionship: provide 1:1 support and meaningful companionship.
• Daily Living Support: assist with hygiene, meals, and medication administration.
• Community Integration: accompany individual during local activities and outings.
• Safety & Well-being: maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment.
• Documentation & Compliance: keep logs and follow state guidelines and policies.
