Job summary

Our House, Inc. is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to assist adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in group homes. You’ll support daily living skills, promote independence, and ensure residents’ health, safety, and well-being.

This part-time weekend role offers pay of $20.00–$21.00 per hour, paid training, and great benefits. A valid driver’s license and prior DSP experience are preferred, and a high school diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Previous Group Home DSP experience preferred.
• Assist residents with daily routines, independence, and personal care.
• Administer and document medications.
• Transport residents using agency vehicles.
• Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass MVR check.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and web-based systems.
• References available on request.

Responsibilities

• Support adults with IDD in group homes or apartments.
• Assist with daily living skills and community inclusion.
• Help residents gain independence while ensuring safety.
• Attend staff meetings and trainings.
• Document shift summaries and log data in electronic systems.
