Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred coursework or degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Healthcare, or related field.
• Experience with individuals with IDD or Autism is beneficial; caregiving or community-based services are a plus.
• Certifications such as CPR/First Aid and agency-required training are expected per Ohio requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide person-centered support to individuals with IDD/Autism, assisting with daily living activities, personal care, medication support, mobility, skill development, and community participation.
• Implement ISPs and behavior support strategies; monitor health and safety; maintain documentation and promote quality of life.
• Communicate with families and care teams; complete required records and participate in training and quality improvement activities.
