Job summary

Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional at our Main Campus in Sewickley, PA. This hourly, non-exempt role provides individualized care and support to residents with complex needs, helping with daily living, routines, and activities.

Shifts available: Part Time – 24 hours, 6am–6:30pm Saturdays and Sundays. The position includes training, safety, and documentation duties, with benefits after probation. Join a team dedicated to whole-person wellbeing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass background, physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized care and ongoing support for residents with complex physical, medical and intellectual challenges.
• Enrich and support residents’ lives while maintaining a safe and healthy environment.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and daily living activities.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities; document observations and progress.
