The Verland Foundation Inc. in Sewickley, PA is seeking a Direct Support Professional (PT/1st) to provide exceptional care to residents at our Main Campus. This part-time, non-exempt role supports individuals with complex needs in daily living activities and community programs.

A 2-week paid training period is provided, and a comprehensive benefits package is offered after 30 hours worked. Eligible employees enjoy Health, Vision, Dental, and more.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift and transfer residents.
• Must pass background, physical, and drug screening.
• 2 weeks paid training provided by Verland.

Responsabilidades

• Enrich and support residents’ lives while maintaining a safe environment.
• Introduce and encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Implement individualized programs; record observations and daily progress notes.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals and perform cleaning and laundry duties in the house.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Bathe, dress, and assist clients with personal hygiene.
• Housekeeping duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
