Job summary

The Verland Foundation Inc. is seeking Direct Support Professionals to join our team in Moon Township, PA. This hourly, non-exempt role provides exceptional care to residents with complex needs. Part-time with a 3pm–11pm Saturday shift, 40 hours per week, and a starting wage of $19.25 per hour.

Applicants must have a HS diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and the ability to lift and transfer. No prior experience required; 2 weeks of paid training provided.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Must pass background, physical, and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support residents in a safe, healthy environment.
• Encourage skill development through activities.
• Record observations and daily progress notes.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals, housekeeping, and laundry as needed.
• Transport clients to appointments and activities in Verland vehicles.
• Assist with personal hygiene and dressing.
• Medication administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
