Job summary

Verland seeks Direct Support Professionals to join Pine House in Aliquippa, PA. This part-time role offers a wage of $20.00/hour for a 16-hour shift, 11pm–7am on Fridays and Saturdays, with non-exempt status and opportunities to provide exceptional care.

The DSP will deliver individualized support for individuals with complex needs, assist with daily living, meals, hygiene, and transport, and participate in activities and training. Training is provided; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions.
• Background, physical and drug screening required.
• Experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Enrich and support residents’ lives while maintaining a safe environment.
• Encourage skill development through active treatment activities.
• Record observations and daily progress notes.
• Participate in planning social, home, and recreational activities.
• Assist with meals and housekeeping tasks; drive clients as needed.
• Bathe, dress and assist with personal hygiene.
• Medication administration.
• Other duties as assigned.
