Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health in Brick, NJ is hosting Walk-In Interviews for Direct Support Professionals. Date: October 6, 2026; Time: 10:00am–3:00pm; Location: Ocean County Library-Brick, 301 Chambers Bridge Road, Brick, NJ 08723. On-the-spot interviews will be conducted for multiple Ocean and Monmouth County sites.

Starting pay is $20.42 per hour, with increases based on education and experience. Schedules include 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• Empathetic with a team approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals are safe and healthy while attending day programs.
• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in daily living skills (food prep, cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Supervise planning, implementation, and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from day programs.
