Job summary

Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health is hosting walk-in interviews for Direct Support Professionals in New Jersey. Interviews run September 16, 2026, from 11:00am to 3:00pm at the Shore Family Success Center, 1129 Rte 9 S, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.

On-the-spot interviews will be conducted for DSP positions in Cape May, Egg Harbor Township, Somers Point, Bridgeton and nearby areas. Starting pay is $20.42 per hour and increases with education and experience.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Have a valid driver’s license.
• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• Be empathetic and have a team approach to care for our individuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure individuals are safe and healthy while attending our day program.
• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in daily living skills (food prep, cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Supervise planning, implementation, and documentation of programs for social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from day program.
