Job summary

Devereux is hosting on-site walk-in interviews for Direct Support Professionals across Swedesboro and surrounding Gloucester County locations in New Jersey. Starting pay begins at $20.42 per hour and increases with education and experience.

Shifts include 2nd and 3rd, with paid orientation to onboard new staff. Join a nonprofit dedicated to behavioral healthcare and support for individuals living with developmental differences.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old and have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Have a valid non-provisional driver’s license.
• Be able to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays.
• Be empathetic and have a team approach to care for individuals.

Responsibilities

• Ensure our individuals are safe and healthy while attending the day program.
• Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in daily living skills (food prep, cooking, cleaning, shopping).
• Supervise planning, implementation, and documentation of programs meeting social, emotional, physical, and personal needs.
• Plan and participate in community-based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings for involvement.
• Schedule and transport individuals to and from the day program.
