Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. seeks a Direct Care Worker (non-meds) to provide direct resident care focused on activities of daily living, assist with housekeeping and laundry, and support mealtime service under the Executive Director.

You will perform a variety of duties as assigned, work rotating weekends and holidays, document care, monitor safety, and help maintain a clean, safe living environment in the community.

Qualifications

• Direct care to residents and support for activities of daily living.
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties.
• May be required to work rotating weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in in/out of bed and wheelchair as needed.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, and peri care.
• Record vital signs and report changes per policy.
• Transport residents to dining area and assist with feeding if required.
• Provide housekeeping and laundry services as scheduled.
• Maintain med room in a clean, orderly condition.
• Complete shift reports and document resident information.
